Hello my lovelies! It's been a while!? Quick Update: I go by two usernames, my cosplay one is usually Daisacabre & my normal one is YourGracious. Although I do update my cosplays on here, I won't be changing my username, cause.. yeah. I DUN WANNA!
Well for one, I have updated my Deviant Art, showcasing more of my Cosplays!
The second is that I've decided to get back into pixel art! I grew up with the art style in most of my games. During my early teen life it was only art style I did, mostly secretly. Then when I confided in my Art teacher in year 12 that I felt like doing something with Pixels, she dismissed it and said it was a poor art style, I ask other professionals and they seemed to agree, so I stopped. BUT, I loved it and now looking back at the images I used to make and other inspiring pixel artists like eBoy, makes me want to get back into it. So, I am and a huge fack you to my art teacher for saying I shouldn't pursue "such an ugly art style" and another fack you to the others who said was "Immature". Ugh.

What is Art?
I haven't produced it in quite a while.
Unless you count Cosplay? I've been doing a lot of that, I guess.
Cosplaying Nerine from Shuffle! today.
It's not going to be her full début, but more like a.. uhh... preview I guess?
I still need to get proper ears, pink contact lenses & a black ribbon.
Today, I think a wig, her outfit & hat shall suffice... maybe the elf ears, if I can buy them in the city.
Bleh, have nothing else to talk about.
I'll upload something soon. I'm going back home Tuesday (Out of civilisation) I might do some flower inking & oil painting. ^_^
Still haven't decided if I want to go back to Qantm. I mean, I love it there... it's just that I'm not sure Graphic Design is what I truly want to do.
I don't even know anymore. I wish someone could give me an answer, instead of me thinking about it over and over again and still not coming up with a confident decision. I've been through the pro's and con's of what I want. I've been to motivational design lectures, I don't know what else to do. I've re-enrolled for another try, I guess i'll see how the next few months go. :/
So. many. creative. ideas... yet, I can't produce them.

Today was a marvellous day!

Why? I hear you ask? Well I'll tell you...
I went to ACMI (Australia centre of the moving image) and went to a Game girls lecture, where there are a panel of girls that work in the games industry... It was really interesting to hear their views and talk to them, they were really inspirational!
(Enter non-related art thing - seeing the olympians - )
After the second half of the lecture, I went into Game Masters... that was pretty epic!
I really want to go back, but with friends... cause I was a loner. D: haha. I actually didn't go straight to the games for once, I read a lot of the back story behind the games and looked at the concept art.
After that I bought the Arrietty art book, the concept art in that is AMAZING! I want to watercolour like that! D:
And laaaaaastly! I FINALLY bought my new Wacom intuos 5! I was meant to get the medium like I had planned and saved for but ended up getting the small, i'll admit, I kind of wish I got the medium now, but never the less, I am still in love! <3 _ <3
